In 1990’s New York City, Danny Fortunato, former bartender, boxer and white collar felon, parlays his notoriety into ownership of a raucous, high-end night club in downtown Manhattan, called Danny Fortune.

With local residents protesting, and an investigation by NYPD detective Nelson Del Valle – Danny must keep his friends close and his enemies closer, as his only salvation may arise out of his unlikely emerging friendship.

Meet The Cast

Jason Utnick

Jason is please to bring Danny Fortunato to life. Some of his favorite roles include Happy in Death of Salesman, Rodolfo in a View from the bridge, Jamie the Retreat from Moscow, Raul in Extremities, Vince in Tape, Philip in Philip Spector.

Angelo Angrisani

Angelo Angrisani has been involved in the New York theatre scene for many years. He has performed in various award winning independent films. His film credits can be found on the web site IMDB. Among his TV credits are Broadwalk Empire, Lilyhammer and most recently The Duce.

Danny Echevarria

Daniel Echevarria is the Artistic Producing Director of the Unity Theatre Company of NYC LLC. He Is also a recent graduate with a B.A. from The City College of New York (CUNY). His most recent Acting credits include: The Prison guard in  The New York Theatre Festival's Production of Obsession (The Hudson's Guild Theatre), King Daniel in The national Black Theatre's Production of Something Like a Fairy Tale: A new Musical (The Resse Theatre), Mike The Iron Worker: a musical ( Aaron Davis Hall), Joshua Jopp in Casterbridge: a New Musical,Yasha In the City College's production of The Cherry Orchard ( Merrian Anderson Theatre) and more His Recent Directing credits include: (Off Broadway) Othello ( The Davenport Theatre), Life Line (The St. Clemente's Theatre)  and Eugine Ionesco's: Exit The King. Off-off Broadway: H.O.M.E. A new play ( The New Ohio Theatre) The Last Stop ( The Players Theatre), The Elevator Pitch ( The Producers Club ) And more. All plays Daniel Directed were all produced by The  Unity Theatre Company of New York LLC. Daniel is very excited and grateful for the opportunity to work here at the bridge Theatre along side Director Tony White and the rest of the cast and production team. He would also love to thank his family and friends for the love and support. And to the cast and crew, Break Legs!!

Sarah Wilhelm

Originally from Texas, Sarah is an actor and producer. Notable acting credits: Born Yesterday (Billie), Dear Brutus (Joanna), Seven Fragments (Smart Girl), The Glass Menagerie (Amanda). Notable Production Credits: The Stand-In (Executive Producer), The Lion’s Den (Assistant Producer), Dick Piston, Hotel Detective (Artistic Director). Sarah received her B.A. from Austin College in Sherman, Texas. Shout out to all her friends and loved ones who came out to see her do the thing she loves.

Pamela Joy

Classically trained at DeSales University, Pamela most recently performed as Tassie Vann in Blood Boundary (Double Down Productions). Other NYC theatre credits include Willie in Tennessee Williams'  This Property is Condemned, Lena in Hello From Bertha (Always Love Lucy Theatre) Suki in Pinter's Celebration (Double Down Productions), and Mary Anne in After Tartuffe (Fresh Fruit Festival).  Pamela is also the proud winner of the Manhattan Monologue Slam's Semi Finals. Melanie Magri
Production Stage Manager

Melanie Rose Magri is the Valedictorian of the Class of 2016 at Five Towns College and received her Bachelor’s degree in Music/Music Business. She does freelance theater work in many different areas such as marketing and stage management, she’s a full time dog walker, and works on the Puffs the play street team. Credits include: Performance: Siren’s Den the Musical BCEFA Benefit Concert(Keys 2); International Championship of Collegiate A Cappella-ICCAs (Dominance A Capella Group Alto); DCINY Total Vocal A Capella Concert at Carnegie Hall (Alto).
